Zhanghu Suspension Bridge (樟湖吊橋) - Spectral Codex

Zhanghu Suspension Bridge (樟湖吊橋) was a short-lived tourist bridge spanning Qingshui Creek (清水溪) in Gukeng, Yunlin. This 170 meter-long, 1.5 meter-wide structure opened in 2003 to replace the former bridge Qingshui Creek Suspension Bridge (清水溪吊橋), which was destroyed in the 921 Earthquake. Less than six years later it was destroyed by catastrophic flooding caused by Typhoon Morakot in August 2009, leaving only the northern bridgehead, where the original name plaque is still legible.
