Hong Kong: Endless Metropolis

This gallery contains several photos from my first few walking tours of Mong Kok, Hong Kong, in January 2012.

My first smartphone was an Apple iPhone 3GS purchased sometime in 2010 and used into 2011. I seldom shot any photos with it because the output quality was so grainy and colours were smeared into oblivion (hence rendering here in black-and-white), but here are a few I kept around for posterity. Almost all were shot in Toronto, with one taken north of the city at Harvest Festival.

I made my second visit to Vancouver in June 2007. Although I was heading to a music festival far outside of the city I spent a little time getting to know Canada’s western metropolis through the lens of my new Nikon D40.
