A remote alpine Shinto shrine on the summit of Mount Dabajian (大霸尖山), on the Miaoli-Hsinchu border, which is also featured on the NT 500 banknote. Not much is known about its precise location or ultimate fate but there are no reports of finding any relics at the summit in modern times. It is also a holy mountain for the Tayal people and isn’t frequently climbed so perhaps something remains of it. The mountain was known as Daihasen-zan in Japanese and the name is sometimes given simply as Daihasen-jinja (大霸神社).
