A remote high mountain police station located near the border of Yilan and Taichung. It is a standard design likely built in the 1980s. It was abolished in 1997 but in recent years it has become more widely known as the “Lonely Police Station” (寂寞派出所) for its desolate surroundings when it snows. Thanks to its increasing popularity online there is now talk of the county government revitalizing the station for tourism purposes, but as of 2024 it is still idle.
