Chóngběn Hall 崇本堂, also known as the Lín Family Ancestral Hall 林氏宗祠, was founded in 1788 to venerate the general conventionally regarded as the founder of Zhushan. It was extensively remodelled in the 1980s and was apparently unscathed in the earthquake of 1999.
